Praises…Prayers

Prayers of comfort and condolences to Mike & Trellys Henley, in the loss of Mike’s Brother-in-Law, Bob Trousdale.  He passed away on Monday, in Oklahoma, and his service was held on Friday.  

Lydia Sager wished to thank everyone for all the prayers on behalf of her grandson, Anthony Francis.  He had a serious bout with pneumonia and was able to go home from the hospital  the very  next day.  

Pray for Don & Kathy Seghieri’s daughter, Jolita,  and husband, Steven.  Their first baby is due June 1.   Pray for a safe pregnancy, delivery and a  healthy baby.  

Pray for Randy Smith’s second laser eye surgery on May 8, that it  will be successful in improving Randy’s eyesight significantly in his right eye.

Servant Auction and Tri-Tip Lunch – Sunday, May 23 – FLC

Bid  on a day of work provided by members of the youth group and young adult group.  Also, enjoy a tri-tip sandwich!  Lunch donations:  $7 for adults;  $3 for children.  All money goes to support our Mexico Mission Trip June 18-26.  The auction and lunch will start after the worship service on May 23.  Make a special point to attend. 

Igo Green VBS – July 26-30 – Invite Your Friends!

Everyone in Sonoma County wants to “go green.”  This summer in “iGo Green”  VBS, kids will learn that taking care of the earth is a fun and exciting way to love God and love our neighbors. Drama, science, and games will highlight our biblical call to care for God’s creation through obedience, gratitude, respect and justice.  This is a great way to show our  neighbors that God’s word is always relevant!  Please talk to Daphne Dunn if you have questions. 

The First VBS Planning Meeting  is Scheduled  for  Sunday, May 23, 12:15 in the Teen Room.   Volunteer  for VBS  on your way to the Servant Auction!

Baby Bottle Blast Fundraiser Begins for PCC

It’s time again for Pregnancy Counseling Center’s annual “Bottle Blast” fundraiser.  Please take a Baby Bottle on the Table in the Foyer and fill it  generously with coins, bills and checks.   Please turn in your bottles to the Office, on or before Father’s Day, June 20.   Your gifts of love will bless Mothers and babies lives in Sonoma County.
