Prayers

· Prayers of comfort  for the family of 60 year old Rick Johnson; he died suddenly last Saturday from a massive heart attack.  Rick was the  Worship and Family Minister of the Antioch congregation.  His service was Wednesday in Antioch.

· Continue prayers of comfort  for Matt Boden, in the loss of his wife, Kylee, that died after giving birth to their 4^th child.   Matt & Kylee were close family friends of Ron & Shirley Whitney and their son,  J.D.  and  daughter-in-law, Jennie.

· Pray for Kristian Germani’s quick recovery and healing from her recent surgery.

8 A.M. Service Discontinued Beginning Next Sunday

The decision has been made to discontinue the Early Service   for the time being, beginning next Sunday, April 4.   If you have questions,  please contact Barney or one of the Shepherds.

Easter Brunch and Children’s Egg Hunt –  Next Sunday, April 4!

There will be a finger food  Brunch, Children’s Egg Hunt (Toddlers – 4^th Grade)  & Scavenger Hunt (5^th – 8^th Grade), 12:00 at the Family Life Center. Please remember to Bring: cookies, nut breads, fruit, bagels to the Family Life Center before worship begins next Sunday. Also, remember to bring a  BASKET  for each child participating in the Egg Hunt.

Note: Please add your filled eggs to the plastic bags in the Foyer today. If you plan to bring filled  eggs next Sunday, you may give them to Jennifer Nash at the FLC before worship. Please remember to tape them closed.

Easter Scavenger Hunt for 5^th – 8^th Graders – Next Sunday, April 4!

Come to the front porch of the Family Life Center at 12:00 with your team and a cell phone for sending pictures.  If you don’t have a team, come anyway and join one! If you have questions, please talk to Daphne Dunn.

Family Serve and Celebrate – Friday, April 2, 5-7:30 PM

Bring the whole family and help prepare for the Saturday Family Outreach.  Meet at the Family Life Center at 5 p.m.  This is an excellent opportunity to inspire  our children to help those in need and have fun doing it!   Please refer questions to Daphne Dunn.

April Family Outreach – Saturday, April 3, 1:00 PM

Plan to come and help Naomi and her team distribute food at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park this Saturday at 1 p.m.  There is also a need for volunteers to assist Naomi with the fresh produce  at 11:30 a.m., in the Children’s Center.

Dave Ramsey’s Special Class on Financial Peace – April 6, 7-9 PM

Plan to attend a special preview class entitled “Super Saving” in the Auditorium.  This is an excellent class and a great opportunity to learn more about Financial Peace. P)lease Talk to Bonnie Maddox if you have questions.
